The Texas Board of Education should be ashamed as should McGraw Hill. I don't believe for one second that the shift from slaves to workers got over-looked. This change was part of the campaign to de-emphasize slavery--how that's morally possible is beyond me--and McGraw Hill went along with it to get the adoption.
